Who we are

What we collect

• Contact details you give us: name, email, phone number, service address and postcode.
• Booking details: services chosen, property information, appointment date and time, and any notes.
• Payment information: processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
• Job records: technician reports, before/after photos and signatures where a job is carried out.
• Website data: pages viewed and booking steps, plus advertising measurement — only where you consent.
• Recruitment data: if you apply to join the team, the details and CV you submit.

How we use it and our legal basis

• To quote, book, deliver and invoice your cleaning — performance of a contract.
• To send booking confirmations, reminders and job reports — performance of a contract.
• To keep records in our internal customer system and CRM — legitimate interests in running the business.
• To measure website use and advertising — your consent, given through the cookie banner.
• To meet accounting, tax and insurance obligations — legal obligation.

Who we share it with

We share data only with providers who help us run the service: Stripe (payments), our email delivery provider (confirmations and reports), Google Calendar (scheduling technicians), KeyCRM (customer records), our cloud database and hosting provider, and — only if you accept Marketing cookies — Meta Platforms for advertising measurement. We do not sell your personal data.

How long we keep it

Booking, job and payment records are kept for up to six years to meet UK accounting and insurance requirements. Enquiries that do not become bookings are kept for up to two years. Consent records are kept for as long as the consent is relied on. Recruitment data is kept for up to 12 months unless you ask us to remove it sooner.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, correction, deletion, restriction or objection, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Email Info@lycservice.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
